Want The Discount?
We will credit $50 off of your Rent The Chicken or adoption for every friend referred who Rents The Chicken. Credits can never be refunded as cash and can never be used for more than one Rental Season at a time.
Possible Transportation Fees
Our Rental Packages include FREE DELIVERY to Erie, Meadville, most of Titusville, and within 50 miles of Albion, PA 16401. If you live outside of the the free delivery parameters, you may incur a predetermined yearly transportation fee. For customers outside of our FREE DELIVERY area, please call us toll-free at 844-310-8782 for a delivery quote.
Additional Notes:
Our Rental Coops are about 32" wide and easily roll from on our trailer to most backyards. If your property requires the coop to be lifted over a wall or fence due to your gate being less than 32" wide, we'll need for you to commit a member of your household to help Homestead Isaac lift the coop.
Possible additional fees: Due to the increase of feed cost and fuel cost, closer to delivery, there may be a slight surcharge for one or both of these items.
Albion, Pennsylvania - Homestead Isaac & Michelle are providing Rent The Chicken and Hatch The Chicken to the western corner of Pennsylvania. They are the 4th generation to live on the family homestead “Mutton but Beef Farms” where they raise beef cows, sheep, a handful of goats, and of course, chickens. They are passionate about educating people on how important farmers are to their daily lives, and are excited to share the experience of raising animals with others through Rent The Chicken and Hatch The Chicken. When they aren’t working on their farm they stay busy with their 4 children and volunteering with their local Agricultural fair, The Albion Area Fair.
At Rent The Chicken, our mission is to help families and communities reconnect with their food through the experience of backyard chickens. Across our network of homesteads and partner farms, we’re proud to offer Rent The Chicken and Hatch The Chicken programs that make keeping chickens fun, educational, and accessible. Each of our team members brings a passion for sustainability, hands-on learning, and sharing the joy that comes from fresh eggs and happy hens.
