We will credit $50 off of your Rent The Chicken or adoption for every friend referred who Rents The Chicken. Credits can never be refunded as cash and can never be used for more than one Rental Season at a time.

Possible Transportation Fees
Our Rental Packages include FREE DELIVERY to a specific area of Los Angeles based on the boundaries in the Map below as well as within 50 miles of Agua Dulce, CA 91390. If you live outside of the boundaries, and you have a truck and/or trailer, you can pickup from the farm in Agua Dulce, CA 91390 or at a designated meeting location at the beginning of the rental and at the end of the rental. Designated meeting places to the south include Culver City, Pasadena, and Los Angeles.
Additional Notes
Our Deluxe Coops are about 57" wide and easily rolls from our trailer to most backyards. If your property requires the coop to be lifted over a wall or fence due to your gate being less than 57" wide, we'll need for you to commit a member of your household to help Homestead Victoria lift the coop. If for one reason or another a member of your household is not available, our coops can be delivered un-assembled ($60) or partially assembled ($40). The predetermined fee is for both delivery and pick-up. A smaller coop that is 31" wide is available upon request if logistics requires the smaller coop.
Possible additional fees
Due to the increase of feed cost and fuel cost, closer to delivery, there may be a slight surcharge for one or both of these items.
Agua Dulce, California - Homestead Victoria serves the Greater Los Angeles Area with Rent The Chicken and Hatch The Chicken from her farm, Lively Little Farm. Lively Little Farm’s mission is to connect people with their food, their community, and the land we share by bringing small-scale agriculture into homes and neighborhoods. Homestead Victoria started with a small flock of three hens in her suburban backyard in Redwood City, CA, but soon her farm dreams and her family outgrew the space. In 2022 she and her family purchased a small, 2.5 acre, farm in Agua Dulce, a small town in northern Los Angeles County. Later that year, Lively Little Farm became an affiliate of Rent The Chicken and Hatch The Chicken. Homestead Victoria looks forward to supporting customers with her firsthand experience keeping backyard chickens and sharing the joy they bring.
