Possible Transportation Fees:
Our Hatch The Chicken rentals include FREE DELIVERY and free pickup to most of the Beaver Dam Micropolitan Area and within 50 miles of Randolph, WI 53956. If you live further than 50 miles of zip code 53956, you may incur a predetermined yearly transportation fee. For customers outside of our FREE DELIVERY area, please call us toll-free at 844-310-8782 for a delivery quote.

Possible Additional Fees: Due to the increase of feed cost and fuel cost, closer to delivery, there may be a slight surcharge for one or both of these items.

Hatch The Chicken renters who are participating in Rent The Chicken with coordinated delivery or pick-up of both Rent The Chicken and Hatch The Chicken receive a $25 discount.

What happens to the chicks?

Here are a number of scenarios as to what happens to the baby chicks after our Hatch The Chicken program is complete:

The girls are raised to be hens for Rent The Chicken
The girls are raised as breeding stock for Hatch The Chicken
The boys are raised to be roosters to fertilize eggs for Hatch The Chicken
The girls are raised to lay eggs for our families
The boys are raised to protect our flocks to help keep them safe
The chicks are sold to families looking to expand their flocks
The roosters are sold to families looking to protect their flock

Randolph, WI - Homestead Zach with the support of his parents is now serving the Beaver Dam Micropolitan with Rent The Chicke n and Hatch The Chicken. He is also serving Madison with Rent The Chicken and Hatch The Chicken as well as Milwaukee with Rent The Chicken. Homestead Zach will be enrolled in his first year of college in 2025 and is using funds raised from Rent The Chicken to help pay for his tuition. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, being outside, and spending time with family. After college, he plans to become an educator so he's especially looking forward with providing Hatch The Chicken to schools and other facilities! His Mom loves her chickens and his Dad is adventurous as an entrepreneur, so this Rent The Chicken fits him and his family well. He's so glad to be bringing the Rent The Chicken and Hatch The Chicken to areas of Wisconsin!

We can't confirm what other organizations do with their baby chicks after a hatching program but we know with our whole hearts that all of the chicks hatched with our Hatch The Chicken program provide a purpose following the rental. We value their lives and value what they bring to our business and those who participate in our programs.
