Possible Transportation Fees
Our Rental Packages include FREE DELIVERY to the greater Portland and Vancouver areas. This includes from Hillsboro to Troutdale and north to Salmon Creek. If you live outside of the the free delivery parameters, you may incur a predetermined yearly transportation fee. For customers outside of our FREE DELIVERY area, please call us toll-free at 844-310-8782 for a delivery quote. Rentals to the greater Portland and Vancouver areas are being delivered from Jefferson, Oregon. Rentals will be grouped then delivered and picked up together. If an early pick-up is needed, a predetermined fee will be charged. This helps keeps the rental prices lower depending on combined trips. Due to the distance, if a rental chicken is not healthy or worse during the rental, they can meet with a replacement chicken within 50 miles of their location without a transportation fee. If you prefer for them to bring a replacement chicken, a transportation fee will be determined.
Additional Notes:
Our Standard Coops are about 31" wide while our Deluxe Coops are about 57" wide. Both easily roll from on our trailer to most backyards. If your property requires the coop to be lifted over a wall or fence due to your gate being less than 31 or 57" wide, we'll need for you to commit a member of your household to help Homestead David & Fay lift the coop. If for one reason or another the coop cannot be lifted, our coops can be delivered un-assembled ($60) or partially assembled ($40). The predetermined fee is for both delivery and pick-up.
Possible additional fees: Due to the increase of feed cost and fuel cost, closer to delivery, there may be a slight surcharge for one or both of these items.
