We will credit $50 off of your Rent The Chicken or adoption for every friend referred who Rents The Chicken. Credits can never be refunded as cash and can never be used for more than one Rental Season at a time.
Possible Transportation Fees
Our Rental Packages include FREE DELIVERY to the Greater Pittsburgh Area and within 50 miles of Freeport, PA 16229. If you live further than 50 miles of zip code 16229, you may incur a predetermined yearly transportation fee. For customers outside of our FREE DELIVERY area, please call us toll-free at 844-310-8782 for a delivery quote.
Additional Notes
Our Standard Coops are about 31" wide while our Deluxe Coops are about 57" wide. Both easily roll from on our trailer to most backyards. If your property requires the coop to be lifted over a wall or fence due to your gate being less than 31 or 57" wide, we'll need for you to commit a member of your household to help Homestead Drew lift the coop. If for one reason or another a member of your household is not available, either we can send a helper to lift the coop with Homestead Drew ($40) or our coops can be delivered un-assembled ($60) or partially assembled ($40). The predetermined fee is for both delivery and pick-up.
Possible additional fees: Due to the increase of feed cost and fuel cost, closer to delivery, there may be a slight surcharge for one or both of these items
Homestead Drew & her family are thrilled to be serving Western Pennsylvania and the Greater Pittsburgh area with Rent The Chicken. Drew, her husband, Max, and 2 children, Grant and Macy, are honored to expand and share their love for chicken keeping with our customers! After building their home on their 10 acre homestead, the first addition was a beautiful coop and the passion for chickens only grew from there! Homestead Drew started working as an Inside Sales Rep for Rent The Chicken in January of 2024 and jumped at the opportunity to become more involved. Their family is egg-cited to share egg-xactly what you need to get started on your chicken journey!
