Our all-inclusive program includes fertilized eggs, an incubator, a brooder, starter feed, and full support. It’s a simple, hands-on way to experience the magic of new life with your family from the comfort of your living room.

Our Rental Packages include FREE DELIVERY to Syracuse, Fabius, Skaneateles, Camillus, Oswego, Cicero, Manlius, and within 50 miles of Hastings, NY 13076. If you live farther than 50 miles of Hastings, NY 13076, you may incur a predetermined transportation fee. For customers outside of our FREE DELIVERY area, please call us toll-free at 844-310-8782 for a delivery quote.
Possible Additional Fees
Due to the increase of feed cost, tolls, and fuel cost, closer to delivery, there may be a slight surcharge for one or both of these items.
Hastings, New York - Homestead Lisa and Steve are proud to serve the Rochester Area, and the Central New York areas with Hatch The Chicken. They are egg-cited to celebrate their 9th season with Rent The Chicken, offering a fun and educational experience for people of all ages! Some of the places that have hatched chicks are daycares, schools, senior communities, libraries, and families. Lifelong Central New York residents, Homestead Lisa and Steve are happily enjoying retirement after years in corporate and county roles—including Homestead Steve’s 30+ years as a volunteer firefighter. Together, they have two grown children and three grandchildren. Locally known as the "Egg Lady" to her loyal customers, Homestead Lisa also earned the title of "Chicken Lady" after being featured in several local magazines and newspaper articles. You can find them at various events across Central New York. Be sure to say "hello" at the Syracuse Winter Fair or the Herkimer County Fair. Homestead Lisa and Steve always love talking chickens and answering questions!

We can't confirm what other organizations do with their baby chicks after a hatching program but we know with our whole hearts that all of the chicks hatched with our Hatch The Chicken program provide a purpose following the rental. We value their lives and value what they bring to our business and those who participate in our programs.
