"I can't find the link of the original tutorial video." Here you go:

"My incubator isn't rotating and I just received my incubator."
  • If your incubator has a rotating line on the bottom right of your display screen, it is set to rotate.
  • If it has a "0" in the bottom right of your display screen, please call us ASAP toll-free 844-310-8782 to adjust your incubator accordingly.
  • The incubator is set to rotate a smidge in one direction and then 45 minutes later, it will make a motor sound with some beeping and rotate the eggs back a smidge.
  • If you look at the eggs and come back one hour later, the eggs will have rotated a smidge and rotated back.
  • If you haven't done so already, go ahead and mark your eggs with a number or letter with pencil so you can see that the eggs are rotating.
  • They will rotate every 45 minutes until Day 2 is displayed on the incubator.
  • At that time, the incubator will display "0" on the bottom right of the the display and stop rotating.
  • Here's a video to watch with more details:

"I'm not quite sure how / when to add water to the incubator."
  • Always use room temperature or warm water
  • There are two ways to add warm water every 2-3 days from Day 21 until Day 2:
  • 1. Open the lid and add water to one of the two chambers on the inside of the incubator.
  • 2. Leave the lid closed and add water to the outside reservoir up to the notch. With this method, you'll need to keep adding the water up to the notch until the water level stabilizes
  • Here's a video on how to add water to the incubator:

"I have questions about candling the eggs."
  • We recommend candling between days 10 and 4 on the incubator; however, candling can be done as early as day 16 to start to see signs of life!
  • Please do not candle after day 3
  • The room must be pitch black. Either candle after sunset or candle in a room without any windows or doors.
  • Press the candling light against the round end of the egg.
  • If you're not sure if you can see anything, candle an egg from your refrigerator to determine what a non-fertile egg looks like. Please don't get it mixed up with your eggs from us!
  • Remember to continue to add warm water to only one of the water inside reservoirs anytime you have opened the incubator OR up to the notch on the outside water reservoir every 2-3 days or when you open the incubator.

"It's Day 2, and I'm not sure how to "lock down" the incubator." There isn't a physical lock down on the incubator.
  • When Day 2 displays:
  • 1. If there are no pips or cracks on any of the eggs, you can open the lid and add warm water to both chambers on the inside of the incubator.
  • 2. If you see pips or cracks or you prefer to not open the lid, add water to the outside reservoir all the way to the top. With this method, you'll need to keep adding water to the top until the water level stabilizes.
  • After filling the water on Day 2, no more water will need to be added unless directed to do so.
  • Here's a video tutorial about Day 2:

"I'm not sure how to set up the cage and/or I'm not sure if my heat source is at an angle."
  • Please set up your cage and plug in your heat source at least 4 hours before moving the chicks.
  • Feel free to set it up as your chicks are starting to hatch so you don't lose track of time and the cage is not ready for when the chicks are ready to be moved.
  • If you're not sure if your heat source is set at the correct angle, please email a photo to us or send via text to USA 724-305-0782 or Canada 647-313-3997.
  • Here's a video that describes how to set up the cage and the heat source (Your cage and supplies may look different):

"My chicks just started hatching / have hatched! When can I move them to the cage?"
  • There's no need to think about moving the chicks until the first one is out of the shell completely for 24 hours.
  • If more chicks are pipped or wet at the 24 hour mark after the first one is fully hatched, then we wait until those ones are hatched and dry as well.
  • Please do not open the lid for any reason until all chicks are hatched and dry.
  • If you’re not sure when you should move them, reach out and we’re happy to decide with you!
  • Here's a video about when to move the baby chicks:
